Timothy Joseph Mulvihill
December 10, 1965 - February 3, 2019
Timothy Joseph Mulvihill, age 53, of New Prague, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at his home. Tim was born on December 10, 1965 in Rochester, MN to John Edward and Colleen (Loftus) Mulvihill. He spent his early years in Fountain, MN until moving to Norfolk, Nebraska in junior high. He graduated from Norfolk High School, where he played football and continued his football career with Rochester Community College after moving back to Minnesota. Tim married the love of his life, Michelle Bany at the chapel at Yellowstone National Park on July 10, 1998. They lived in Rochester for their early years, until moving to Dover, MN once the children entered school. Tim worked as the general manager for Noble RV and when a new dealership was opened up, in 2013, he and his family moved to New Prague. Tim’s passion for football took off in a new way once he made that move; he became the voice on KCHK radio announcing Trojan football games and continued until his own son played high school football and Tim decided he needed to be a vocal participant in those games. Tim’s number one passion in life was coaching and cheering on his kids in their sporting events. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his nieces & nephews, and friends, old and new.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Michelle and children, Keegan, Karson, & Kaidyn all of New Prague; mother, Colleen Loftus of Fountain; siblings, Dennis (Dani) Mulvihill of Cottage Grove, Mitch Mulvihill of Fountain, Jenny (Glenn) Simes of Lanesboro; mother-in-law, Claryce Bany of Eyota; many cherished nieces & nephews and inlaws. He is preceded in death by his father, John Mulvihill.
