Ronnie Wieland

June 12, 1962 - May 4, 2021

Ronnie M. Wieland, age 58, of Le Center, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from complications of cancer.  Ronnie was born on June 12, 1962 in New Prague to Martin F. and Adeline C. (Unger) Wieland.  He graduated from New Prague High School and went on to Foley Bel-Saw in Kansas to attain his small engine repair degree.  Ronnie worked for Ace Hardware for 15 years in New Prague as their best lawn mower repairman and was the owner/operator of Tay Tay Transport, LLC.  He married his soul mate, Wendy R. Diethelm on July 6, 1991 in Victoria, MN.  Ronnie was a jack-of-all-trades, fixing anything that needed to be fixed.  His kind disposition and ready smile made him a beloved employee at Ace, sought out by the customers that benefited from his service.  He was a man of few words but the words he used were wise and honest.  His family was always his top priority.  He will be sorely missed by them, and all who knew him.

 

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Wendy of Le Center; sons, Martin (Jenna) Wieland of Le Center and Philip Wieland of Florida; grandchildren, Hunter Rank, Jordynn Berens, KyleeAnn Fehling-Wieland, Thomas Wieland, Ronnie Wieland, Adeline Wieland; sisters, Bonnie (Bill) Hlavac of Montgomery, Judeen Brown of Dundas, Sandra (Tom) Vlasak of New Prague, Rita “Mitzie” Miller of Kansas.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Taylor; parents.

 

A private immediate family only service will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 at 7 PM at Bruzek Funeral Home.  The public may visit the family from 5 PM until 6:45 at Bruzek Funeral Home.  Masks and social distancing are required by all attending the walk through visitation.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Love you all! So sorry! So sad but SHARING in the bitter happiness at his reunification with Taylor and the beautiful image of them, standing together holding eachother, looking down on all who love them!
