My mother, Ceil Kane, lived in the same building as Geri, at Liberty Park, and they shared the Belle Plaine and New Prague papers for years. When neither one were able to go up or down the stairs any longer, I would run up and make the exchange. She was so sweet and always had a smile on her face. Joan Kane Larson

My dear sweet Godmother – you will be sorely missed. I affectionately remember the wonderful cards and letters you sent me. I cherish the family get togethers and holidays we shared. When I think of family, you are in the heart of it along with your parents and your children. You are so intertwined with the fabric of my life that it has given me a deep sense of being nurtured and loved. Bless you all!
