Blake Ryan Asher

November 7, 2002 - February 18, 2020

Blake Ryan Asher, age 17, of Lonsdale, died tragically in a car accident on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.  Blake was born on November 7, 2002 in Northfield to Ryan P. Asher and Jennifer Kassa Jones.  He was raised in the Farmington/Lonsdale area and was currently a junior at Tri-City United (TCU) School, where he was a member of the speech club.  Blake was loved by everyone with his bubbly, funny, goofy personality. He had the “best hair” and was so proud of it.  He and his mom had similar interests in TV and shared special TV nights.  He played Dungeons and Dragons, loved hunting and fishing, and recently added kayaking to his interests.   His gentle, sweet, goofy spirit will be sorely missed by so many.

Blake is survived by his parents, Jennifer & James Jones, Ryan & Robyn Asher; siblings, Tyler Asher, Jacob Jones, Isabella Jones, Natasha Flicek, Alesha Glander, Layni Rodriquez, Chantelle Rodriquez; girlfriend, Bri Harper; grandparents, Nancy & Gary Kassa, Mary & Paul Asher, Jim & Debbie Jones, Jimann & Eddie Cozzen.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Trondhjem Lutheran Church in Lonsdale with Pastor Sue Leibnitz officiating.  Visitation will take place Friday from 6-8 PM at Bruzek Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to service on Saturday morning at church.  Lunch will follow the service in the church hall.  Burial will be at a later date at Corinthian Cemetery in Farmington.
