Amanda D. Lake
July 27, 1992 - April 5, 2020
Amanda D. Lake, age 27, of Mankato, died suddenly in her sleep, on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Amanda was born in Minneapolis, MN on July 27, 1992 to Daniel A.. and Doreen K. (Hanson) Lake. She had an infectious zest for life; she exuded happiness and made friends wherever she went. She was an avid sports fan and loved all Minnesota teams, the Twins, Vikings, and the Wild. Amanda did everything with the fullness of her spirit. Her favorite TV shows were Cops and Dog, the Bounty Hunter; in fact, dog became her Halloween costume every Halloween. She loved Duane Johnson (The Rock), country music (Garth Brooks was her favorite), and riding in the semi with Kevin so she could visit with the CBers on the road. There was nothing more important than time with her family, her many, many friends and going out to eat and enjoying a Captain Coke. She will be sorely missed by so many.
