Mathilda A. Pint, age 99, of New Prague died Friday June 23, 2017 at Mala Strana Nursing Home.  Mathilda was born on October 11, 1917 in Helena Township, Scott County to John Michael Wolf and Sophia (Pranke) Wolf.  She was raised in the St. Benedict area and attended the St. Benedict Parochial School.    After being married at St. Benedict Catholic Church to Rainer J. Pint on April 20, 1939 Mathilda lived in Belle Plaine, Jordan, and finally in New Prague for the last 70 plus years. Being a homemaker and an excellent cook all her adult life Mathilda enjoyed making rhubarb wine, doing needle point, and gardening (especially roses).

Mathilda is survived by her children Roger (Carolyn) Pint of Cape Coral, FL, Donald (Sharon) Pint of New Prague, and Douglas Pint of New Prague; 7 grandchildren Dr. Michelle & Neeley Schmitz, Dr. Kimberly & Eric Lewis, Dr. Roger Jr. & Sarah Pint, Sheila Pint & Jeff Taylor, Dawn & Tim Putzier, Keith Ploumen, and Kathy & Greg Shetzer;  2 sisters-in-law Valeria Wolf and Helen Wolf; and 8 great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Rainer Pint on November 7, 1999; son Jimmy Pint (in infancy), daughters Mary Pint (stillborn), and Beverly Ploumen; brothers Michael, Ludwig, Leo, Edward, and George Wolf; and sisters Christine Nytes, Adeline Busch, and Stella Javurek.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home, in New Prague with Deacon Bob Wagner from St. Wenceslaus Church officiating.  Visitation will be from 9-11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, New Prague after the service.   Lunch at the New Prague Knights of Columbus Hall will follow the burial.
