Lonnie L. Webb, age 86, of New Prague, died at his home on Saturday, May 6, 2017.  Lonnie was born August 15, 1930, in Kearney, Nebraska to Richard and Sadie (McKinney) Webb.  He earned a BA degree from the University of Illinois in accounting and worked as an accountant for several firms.  He served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Lonnie married Billie F. Cheatum on July 2, 1976 in Le Center, MN.  She died May 9, 2003. He married Eunice E. Shortland at Bethel Lutheran Church in Northfield, MN on February 13, 2006. Besides being a Life Master Bridge Player, Lonnie was an active apiarist (beekeeper) and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Lonnie is survived by wife, Eunice Anderson-Webb of New Prague; children, David & Nancy Webb of New Prague, Allen & Carol Webb of Savage, Judy & Brian Dohm of New Prague, Kathy & Perry Roberts of Palm Coast, FL, Donald Webb of Greeley, CO, Margie Webb & Renae Pereira of Lakeville; step-children, Marc & Mary Anderson of New Prague, Clay & Missy Anderson of Slayton, Todd & Tracy Anderson of Bloomington; sister, Lela Rust of Lincoln, Illinois; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; first wife, Lois Webb of Eagan.

A Memorial Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 15, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home. Visitation will take place Sunday from 5-8 PM and Monday morning from 7:30 - 11:00 also at the funeral home.  Military rites will be conducted at the funeral home immediately after the service.  Lunch will follow at the Legion Clubroom.
