Therese Marie “Terri” Steinhoff, age 67, of New Prague, died suddenly Friday, December 30, 2016, at her home.  Terri was born March 27, 1949, in New Prague to Raymond N. and Bette Jane (Janovsky) Steinhoff.  She grew up in the St. Benedict area, attended St. Benedict School, and graduated from New Prague High School Class of 1967.  After high school, she lived and worked in Washington DC for 19 years before moving back to New Prague.  During that time, she was an executive assistant for the Federal Government and various businesses.  She also served as a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics.  Terri was proud to be a Registered Parliamentarian and was Past President of the Minnesota Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals (I.I.A.P.), for which she also served at the international level.  One of the most important joys of her life was her love of her nieces and nephews; she so enjoyed time spent with them.

Terri is survived by her brothers, Tim & Dia of New Prague, Rick & Mary of Prior Lake, Randy & Pam of Andover, Dale & Linda of Jordan; sisters, Sharon & Dan Smith of New Prague, Karen Steinhoff & Fred Simon of New Prague, Cindy & Bill McNab of Jordan; 9 nieces and nephews; 5 grand-nieces and –nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Bette.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017, at 10:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Father David Barrett officiating, followed immediately by lunch at the KC Hall.  Visitation will take place Wednesday from 4-7 PM and Thursday morning from 7:30 – 9:30 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home.  Burial will occur after lunch at St. Benedict Cemetery in St. Benedict .
