Johnnie A. Kegley, age 61, of Montgomery, died peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on Monday, October 17, 2016 after a 5-month battle with cancer.  Johnnie was born on August 6, 1955 in East Chicago, Indiana, to John G. and Georgiana (Cummings) Kegley.  Johnnie graduated from Lake Central High School in Schererville, IN.  He married Arlene M. Stolzenbach on August 7, 1976 in Beecher, IL  and entered the US Air Force in 1980, where he worked on aircraft maintenance and retired after 20 years as a Master Sergeant.  For the last 10 years Johnnie resided in Montgomery and worked for Schneider Electric in tech support.  Johnnie’s greatest love was the Lord, followed by his family and time with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.  Next came his dedication to his church, Calvary Church in New Prague and his love of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. 

Johnnie is survived by his wife, Arlene of Montgomery; daughters, Tasha (Aaron) Klaassen of Nashua, MT, & Amy (Ed) Dressel of Flaxville, MT; brother, Scott (Anne) Kegley of DeMotte, IN; sister, Melody (Greg) Marshall of Hesperia, CA; 13 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, John & Georgiana; brother, Terry Kegley; grandchildren in infancy, Fallon and Mercy.

Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Bolin officiating.  Visitation will occur 2 hours prior to service.  A  short Poppy Memorial service will be conducted at this time, with full military honors at time of interment.  Lunch will follow the service at the Legion Clubroom in New Prague.  Interment will occur at a later time in Yellowstone National Cemetery in Laurel, MT.
