Delores Gosewisch, age 87, of New Prague, died peacefully surrounded by her family Monday evening, July 18, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health System New Prague.  Delores was born July 7, 1929, in Belle Plaine Township, to Joseph F. and Celia (Ruhland) Schoenecker.  She was a lifelong resident of New Prague, graduating from New Prague High School.  On November 17, 1948, Delores married Howard F. Gosewisch in Lanesburgh, MN.  She worked as a machinist for MVE/Chart most of her life.  Delores loved playing cards with friends and family and traveling with her siblings.  Her greatest joy in life, however, was time with her children and grandchildren.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Roxanne Gosewisch of St. Paul, Jayne (Marv) Florek of St. Paul, Sandy (Tom) Skaja of New Prague, Nancy Teply (& fiancé, Scott Hurt) of New Prague; grandchildren, Will & Ellen Florek, Emily & Nick Skaja, Hannah & Abby Teply; brothers, Ralph (Rita) Schoenecker, Virgil Schoenecker, Robert (Mariann) Schoenecker, Earl (Mary) Schoenecker, Joseph (Rosie) Schoenecker, Jr.; sisters, Rosemary Lambrecht & LaDonna Peller; sisters-in-law, Rosie Schoenecker and Rissy Schoenecker.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard, on September 11, 2003; son, Ken Gosewisch; daughter, Pat Gosewisch; parents; brothers, Erwin, Leander, & Richard Schoenecker.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 22, 2016, at 11:00 AM at FaithPoint Lutheran Church in New Prague with Rev. Dr. Steve Trewartha officiating.  Visitation will take place Thursday from 4-8 PM at Bruzek Funeral Home and Friday morning at church 1 hour prior to service.  Burial will take place at Czech National Cemetery in New Prague followed by lunch at the KC Hall.
